Built to Rock

Just found out that the home-boys of Built to Spill will be gracing San Francisco for a three day set at Slims 333 July 13-15. It's the band's first tour since frontman Doug Marsch split to record his solo album. Better get those tickets while they're hot.

The band is the single most famous export of my hometown. The possible exceptions --depending on the crowd--being the recently fabulous Boise State football team, and avant-guard artworld sweetheart Matthew Barney (who incedentally paid his own homage to the BSU Smurf Turf in his exceptionally wierd Cremaster Cycle).
